28 Years

Started off the morning with breakfast in bed, thanks to Evan. I had my most favorite breakfast item since visiting Spain last spring: chocolate filled croissants.
What's better than being able to wear a seafoam green seahorse t-shirt? Not much, I tell you.
Later Evan scheduled a massage for me, at a fantastic salon here. Can't wait!

Thank you Evan! Love, love, love you!

More Easter pics

Could we ever get a family picture where we're all smiling? Probably not. At least we got one picture right? After we stayed at Evan's parents house, we drove up to Sarah and Tyson's house. Sarah and Tyson were married when Evan and I first started dating and we have many happy memories hanging out with them in Logan. They now have 5 kids, and Maya was in heaven to have so many people to play with, and Brynn played with Cole who is just 6 weeks younger than her.

Easter in Indiana

We ventured to Indiana for Easter. We left warmer weather in Minne, and went to much colder weather in Indiana...boo! But we had a fantastic time. Brynn met her Grandpa and Grandpa Fetters for the first time. And Maya was content to stay outside all day playing with her new pet kitty who could climb trees, and playing in Grandma's garden. The little ladies did far better than imagined on the trip, what little super stars.

While Mother is away....

Daddy and Brynn will play. While I was at the dentist Brynn "helped" Evan work from home a bit. I'm sure he got lots of work done. :)

Chocolate Milk + Dirt = Messy Maya

The pictures say it all-Maya could play in dirt, sand, what-have-you and the dirtier the better.

Never thought the day would come...

.....but here lies proof that my little lady is playing with DOLLS! (LARGE GASPS)! Maya has ONLY ever been interested in trains, cars, airplanes. My mom brought out a doll for Maya when Brynn was born and Maya very nicely shoved it away. One Friday night, (we do REALLY fun things on Friday nights, if you can't tell) I asked Maya if she wanted to dress some babies. She and I proceeded to pull out all of my old doll clothes. I have two dolls from when I was little-Candace Nelly the cabbage patch doll, and Becky another doll who was my favorite. Maya decided that to "dress" the dolls you pile clothes on top of them. Then I caught her feeding Candace Nelly. Seriously, a miracle.

Houdini

I start out in my crib this way:

Miracle

I NEVER catch Maya's natural happy grin. Whenever the camera is out, it's cue for Maya to pull some random stare at it, or just look the other direction. Here she is with Brynn. Brynn LOVES her sister and will laugh and grin much easier than her parents, even when we TRY like crazy to make her grin.
